Some scenarios:

1. You need only a "web presence" - a couple of pages to say who you are and what you do. We can make you a basic site like this very quickly, usually just a few days.
2. You want a site for an organisation with members who contribute material to the site, perhaps add events to a diary, or write articles about activities, but you need to have editorial control over contributions.
3. You want to advertise a professional service - book-keeping? aromatherapy? You may want a site to which you can add more pages or special offers, but you are not accepting payment through the site.
4. You have products which you want to display on the web and perhaps sell via email - you want a catalogue site but not a shopping cart
5. You want to take advantage of the organisational features of a shopping cart - this is a much more complex project than the other scenarios, takes time and careful planning, but is a powerful tool for selling your products

If you want to have day-to-day control over the content, we can use one of several content management systems (CMS). These allow you to add and change content, that is the text, pictures, menu items, advertising banners, etc. on your site. You can set up CMS sites so that visitors may, if you permit them, add or modify content on the site.
