There are a number of systems available for creating e-assessment tests and questions. Some are contained within Vrtual Learning Environments ((VLEs) such as Moodle and Blackboard; these tend to have a restricted number of question types and randomisation features may be basic. More flexible systems such as STACK and MapleTA for mathematics and the more general QuestionMark, are independent of the VLE but should ideally link into the VLE gradebook for recording student progress.
